Montana’s Missouri River

Inspiring Adventure, Retracing History

Multi-day Guided Canoe Adventures

Experience a luxury guided river trip with the leading outfitter on Montana’s Upper Missouri River.

Explore this remote area of Montana, enjoy the solace of the river and absorb the history and wildlife with ease. This magnificent section also corresponds with the most famous portion of the legendary Lewis and Clark Expedition into the West. From the eloquent and mesmerizing descriptions by Meriwether Lewis in his journal entries to the countless modern texts romanticizing the landscape and formations, this river section will always be immortalized as a pivotal piece of history. Moreover, it is unique and inspiring in that you can experience the Upper Missouri River much like the early explorers and homesteaders did, undisturbed and magnificent. Are you are fan of Stephen Ambrose’s Undaunted Courage? Do you dream of experiencing this pivotal work for yourself? Then you have come to the right place.

We offer unparalleled adventures through the famed White Cliffs, wilder and lesser-known Badlands, and the underappreciated Upper River Section near Fort Benton.
